Welcome to theAtari.Spot - a site that spotlights the unusual side of Atari 2600 collecting. Emphasized here are oddball or one-off items, international things, "unauthorized" clone consoles, and seemingly endless undocumented cartridges that continually turn up across six continents.

Many sites focus strictly - often unintentionally - on Atari in just the USA, or just North America (which really just means "oh okay, Canada too"). But it's a wide, wide world, where untold hundreds of thousands of people likely got their start in video gaming via the 2600 and its clones. We like to celebrate that here on tA.S!
